You know what it is like in work every so often, when you are suggested something and you have the overwhelming urge to look into it. That happened to me the other week.

The Time Traveller’s Wife

A long awaited film, I was so excited when I finally got to see this. Based on a book by Audrey Niffenegger, this was anticipated by all those who had read it, and those who knew of it. Hoping that this was not similar to other film adaptations we watched.

Ode to my Granddad!

My Granddad passed from this world today and I just wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful man he was. He would have been 90 this December, and every one of those years has been something. He was a trouble maker, and enjoyed the reputation that came with it. Always laughing and joking even at the end. I know he was so happy that all of his family came to be with him at the end and I am sure somewhere he is thinking that we are all just being soft. That was his way. I will always remember his stories, but one comes to mind now.

Films to Get Excited About

There are a few films due to come later this year and into next that we should all be getting excited about. To keep you going I am only mentioning a few that have caught my eye.

The long awaited 6th film in the Harry Potter series is here at last. I had the good fortune to watch this in the IMAX in 3D recently. Having read the book I knew what to expect, so be warned I am likely to give a couple of spoilers while giving my opinion. This was one of my favourite books from the Harry Potter series and so I was really looking foward to the screen adaptation.
